The Phins Compact Series (C3, C5 & C7) has been designed to offer AUV manufacturers and users the ability to choose an inertial navigation system adapted to their vehicle, whatever the size and mission, to meet the most challenging navigation and survey requirements.

Phins C3, C5 & C7 are based on iXblue’s unique Fiber-Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology, which the company has mastered end-to-end design and manufacture of over the past four decades. The systems are scalable by design, with similar architecture and interface, and provide very accurate heading, pitch, roll, velocity and position information. As a strap-down solid-state technology, iXblue’s FOG is also acoustically silent, making it perfect for stealth autonomous missions. With MTBF up to 100,000 hours and no preventative maintenance requirement, the systems guarantee users the highest degree of reliability and robustness.
