PLAN J-15 Flying Shark fighters conduct take-off and landing training on Liaoning Aircraft Carrier
 
Multiple batches of ship-borne J-15 fighters conducted take-off and landing training on China’s first aircraft carrier “Liaoning Ship”, which was first launched for scientific research experiments and training this year, on June 19, 2013 in a sea area of the Bohai Sea. This is another take-off and landing training by ship-borne J-15 fighters on the “Liaoning Ship” after the J-15 fighters successfully landed on and took off from the deck of the aircraft carrier for the first time in November 2012.

Since it was launched on June 9, the “Liaoning Ship” has carried out many scientific research experiments and training, such as experiment on the adaptability of the ship and ship-borne J-15 fighters, flight commanding and support operation training of the ship-borne J-15 fighters, and landing technique recovery training of the ship-borne J-15 fighters.

It is learnt that the ship-borne J-15 fighters will also conduct the first on-ship flight training on the “Liaoning Ship” during the sea trial mission.
