NAVANTIA Responds to Request For Information (RFI) to QATAR ahead of DIMDEX 2012
 

In March, Navantia has delivered a response to a Request For Information (RFI), issued by the Qatar Emiri Navy, for the construction of several types of ships:

  • 4 corvettes - Navantia presents the Avante Family
  • 6 patrol boats – Navantia presents the Avante Family
  • 1 logistic support ship – Navantia presents the Athlas Family
  • 1 divers support ship
     
In March, Navantia has delivered a response to a Request For Information (RFI), issued by the Qatar Emiri Navy, for the construction of several types of ships, ahead of DIMDEX 2012 the third Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference in Qatar March 26 - 28.

Last January, Qatar formally requested this RFI to Navantia, concerning to the total of 12 ships. There is not an official schedule for next milestones.

This RFI is a significant step of the will of Navantia to stablish close ties with the Qatari Emiri Navy.
