The agreements cover deliveries through 2020 to the shipbuilder. Work will be performed by the Engineered Polymer Products (EPP) team in Jacksonville, Florida, which is part of the Aerostructures business unit.

The composite components include the bow dome and rubber boot, along with a variety of external fairing structures. As the supplier of submarine bow domes for the Virginia Class program for over 10 years, EPP continues to demonstrate world class quality performance while meeting delivery schedule and cost commitments.

"Our proven performance in supplying composite components on Virginia Class Block III was crucial to ensuring we continue to be a key supplier for this program," said Aerostructures President Marc Duvall. "These awards continue the core work that is the foundation of our submarine business. Our dedicated team of engineers and manufacturing experts at EPP is committed to delivering superior composite solutions in support of Newport News Shipbuilding and General Dynamics Electric Boat as they deliver the world's best submarines to the U.S. fleet."
