RIBS
Zodiac
MILPRO has supplied two top-of-the- range In board diesel RIBS for use
by the advanced new Offshore Patrol Vessel : L’ Adroit. The 87
metre vessel built by DCNS Group will be presented at Navdex. The Zodiac
Hurricane Ribs will be central to many of the duties of L’Adroit
and will be deployed from a unique launching ramp in the Adroit’s
stern. This will enable the RIB to be launched and recovered quickly
and safely in extreme sea conditions .

Mach2 In Board
The nine-metre Zodiac Hurricane Mach 2 comes is powered by two In Board
diesel outdrives that enable it to carry 10 people at speeds up to 55
knots over a distance of 200 nautical miles. Shock mitigation seating
enables those aboard to remain fully operational even after a long passage
in extreme sea conditions.
The exceptional speed and performance of the ZH 935 arises from Zodiac’s
unique patented MACH II step hull design. The air channelled hull reduces
water resistance while its deep V configuration combines with it to
provide a low centre of gravity. These features result in increased
speed and directional stability together with greater manoeuverability
and improved fuel economy.

The height metre Zodiac Hurricane is powered by one In Board diesel
with water jet that enable it to carry 5 people at speeds up to 31 knots
over a distance of 200 nautical miles. Shock mitigation seating enables
those aboard to remain fully operational even after a long passage in
extreme sea conditions. The aluminium hull and the Duarib foam inflatable
collar also combine to make the H780DJ a durable and reliable craft
for Coast Guard patrol and stern launched application.
