Alenia Aermacchi ATR 72 ASW represents the ideal solution for the maritime surveillance requirements in the Gulf region. The ATR 72 ASW is a special version of the bestselling ATR 72 civil twin turboprop, specifically developed to be an operationally flexible platforms capable of performing a wide range of maritime patrol missions, spanning from the autonomous submarine attack to the Search and Rescue missions with the utmost flexibility, without need for reconfiguration. The aircraft offers lower fuel consumption than jet powered platforms; excellent behaviour at low speeds typical of ASW/MP missions and high operational effectiveness thanks to a state of the art mission system and advanced sensors.
