It is a system to report the presence and location of objects underwater that have invaded the monitored area. Underwater objects in the monitored area can be automatically found and their movements tracked. The locations and movements of underwater threats can be viewed intuitively on a map (satellite image or aerial photo) in real time and can also be played back. Multiple alarm features provide alerts such as changing the color of symbols on the monitor, emitting quiet or loud warning signals, or changing the color of warning lamps according to the level of risk posed by the discovered underwater object.
The active acoustic sensor emits sound from its main unit and detects the sound reflected from an object. It then can calculate the distance to the object and the object's azimuth.
