Group Awarded 2nd Contract with the French Navy for Navy Training Support

Navy with a new 6 year contract award for Navy training support services
in both Brest and Toulon naval bases. |

Navy in performing operational sea training for all the personnel of
their surface ships, submarines, naval aviation and auxiliaries fleet.Not

to the French Navy, but it strengthens our relationship with other defence

One of the core competencies of the company is efficiency; we are able to complete the Navy’s engagements on time and on budget." “Our relationship with the French Navy dates back to 2008 when we performed a number of dry docks for Navy vesselsand assist in the new build “Hermes” delivery project. Since then SeaOwl has been invited to tender on smart procurement contracts to help the French Navy manage more efficiently some of their operations such as the training and qualification of their personnel at sea.Similarly we are called upon by defence contractors to support defence equipment qualification campaigns”. The “Plastron” contract consists in putting at the disposal to the French Navyaccredited personnel and material resources to perform training exercises with the various units of their fleet. SeaOwl is responsible for the management of the whole scope of combat training support equipment: from targeting systems(underwater, surface and aerial targets), asymmetric threat equipment and the support vessels needed to operate the training equipment. SeaOwl’s
multi task fleet include the flagship vessel “VN Partisan”,
a 79 meter long former platform support vessel fitted with a helideck,
an aviation HQ room and a close combat module for commando training missions. In connection with this year contract award, SeaOwl purchased a new 75 meters longvessel for the Toulon operation, that once fitted with a DP I system will also be able to provide subsea capabilities.
