Israel Aerospace Industries' (IAI) Ramta division has won a contract to supply three Super Dvora Mk 3 fast patrol boats to the Israel Navy. The Super Dvora Mk 3, an advanced development of the Ramta Division, is a mainstay of the Israel Navy's ongoing security activities. The boat is used for patrol, and other operations, protection of Israel's coasts and strategic assets at sea and along all of its coasts, prevention of terrorist activities and infiltration, as well as preventing smuggling and all illegal activity in Israel's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and more.

Portsmouth, UK: BAE Systems has handed over a new warship to the Royal Navy of Oman amid colourful celebrations on HM Naval Base Portsmouth this morning. AL RAHMANI is the second of three 99 metre corvettes designed, built and delivered for the Royal Navy of Oman as part of Project Khareef. Her Interim Acceptance, in which the ship’s title is transferred before sailing to Oman, marks an important milestone for the project.

French company iXBlue to provide inertial navigation systems for Royal Navy Aircraft Carriers
 
iXBlue has been selected to provide inertial navigation systems for the two Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers currently being built by the Aircraft Carrier Alliance for the UK Royal Navy. The bridge system for each of the carriers will incorporate two iXBlue MARINS units. Trials have already been conducted to optimise the configuration of the units to meet the specific operational requirements of the vessels.

A special trials version of Wildcat – replacement for the trusty Lynx which has been in service since the 1970s – has joined aviation training/casualty treatment ship RFA Argus to gather crucial data to allow the helicopter fly from large Royal Navy warships. Wildcat will spend the bulk of its time operating from Royal Navy frigates and destroyers – just like its predecessor.

The $5 million, five-year contract covers support for two Coast Guardvessels, the Polar Star and the Healy. These polar ice breakers are used to clear pathways for supply ships and support research missions. Northrop Grumman has provided comparable support for the Coast Guard's polar ice breakers since 1999.

The scale model of the Incheon class frigate Batch II was unveiled by DSME in the 63rd anniversary festival of the Incheon landing operation in the Korean War. Key updates of the Batch II over the ASW-focused Batch I include VLS and full electric propulsion system, as well as a larger hangar that can accomodate a 10-ton helicopter (Batch-I has hangar for lighter helicopters like AW159).

On 26 September 2013, in La Spezia bay, a great day occurred for OCCAR, OSN and the Italian Navy. Three IT FREMM ships, ITS Carlo BERGAMINI (already delivered to the Italian Navy and now engaged in completing some minor works after the official acceptance by the Italian Navy on 29 May 2013), Virginio FASAN (engaged in Platform and Combat system preparatory trials for the delivery to the Navy) and Carlo MARGOTTINI (at her first sea going) were together at sea.
