When
the dock tests are completed, the boat will head for the acceptance base
in Gadzhyevo in the Murmansk Region in north Russia to undergo running
and state trials, the press office added. After that, the boat will join Russia’s Northern Fleet. In accordance with the contract, the four boats are expected to be built before 2017. Two of the boats are planned to be delivered to the customer in 2016. All the Project 21980 anti-sabotage boats will join Russia’s Northern Fleet. The Project 21980 Grachonok anti-sabotage boat has a displacement of 138 tons, a length of 31 meters and a maximum speed of 23 knots. Its crew totals 8.
