US Navy F-35C, P-8A, E-2C, C-2, MH-60R & H-72A in Aerial Photo Op with USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000)
 
The U.S. Navy released a series of pictures showing several aircraft types flying close to the destroyer USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000). This aerial photo exercise comes just a few days after the commissioning of the U.S. Navy's newest and most technologically advanced warship.

Zumwalt photo op Triton  NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, PATUXENT RIVER, Md. – The MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft completed its 100th flight Oct. 17 from NAS Patuxent River, Md. Triton flew over the newly commissioned USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) while it traveled across the Chesapeake Bay. When fully operational, Triton will provide 24/7 intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance for the U.S. Navy's surface ships.
