Project 11711 Landing Ship Ivan Gren to Join Russian Navy in November 2017
Russia’s Project 11711 large amphibious assault ship Ivan Gren will be handed over to the Russian Navy not earlier than November, President of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) Alexei Rakhmanov told journalists.

"That will happen not earlier than November as a major degaussing problem was exposed there. Work is ongoing and we shall complete it," he said.
Comment by Navy Recognition Sea trials were put on hold in October 2016 after problems surfaced with the degaussing system. A Yantar representative said at the time: "At the initial stage mistakes were made in calculating the magnetic field of the warship and now it is necessary to adjust the degaussing system,"
The warship was set to be handed over to the Russian Navy by the end of 2016. The defense ministry ordered Yantar to build yet another warship of the project - the Petr Morgunov. It has to be passed on to the Navy in 2018.
