DCNS pursues sea trials with FREMM frigate for Royal Moroccan Navy
 
The FREMM multimission frigate on order for the Royal Moroccan Navy is pursuing sea trials off the French coast in preparation for delivery later this year. In June, French naval shipbuilder DCNS successfully completed a third series of trials to test the performance of the ship’s combat system.

U.S. Navy Successfully Tests Long Range Land Attack Projectile from Advanced Gun System (AGS)
 
The US Navy announced that it successfully conducted four Long Range Land Attack Projectile (LRLAP) guided flight tests at White Sands Missile Range. All four missions accurately guided the projectile to the target approximately 45 nautical miles from the launch site. These flights, conducted in June, demonstrated successful gun launch, GPS acquisition, navigation and guidance, height of burst fuzing, accuracy and warhead function.

A Lockheed Martin-led industry team officially laid the keel for the U.S. Navy’s ninth Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), the future USS Little Rock, in a ceremony held at Marinette Marine Corporation. The industry team is building the Freedom-variant LCS for the U.S. Navy on budget, has delivered two ships with four others under construction and two in the early material procurement stages.
