Turkish Shipyard Dearsan Will Deliver Six 33 meters Fast Attack Craft to Turkmenistan
 
According to Azeri Defence News, Turkish shipyard Dearsan (Dearsan Gemi Insaat Sanayili) will deliver six fast attack craft for Turkmenistan. The manufacturer's designation of the vessel type is "33 meter Attack Boat". Azeri Defence News learned during IDEF 2015 exhibition that the first vessel will be delivered in July this year and the last one is expected to be delivered by 2017.
     
According to Azeri Defence News, Turkish shipyard Dearsan (Dearsan Gemi Insaat Sanayili) will deliver first fast attack craft for Turkmenistan. The manufacturer's designation of the vessel type is "33 meter Attack Boat". Azeri Defence News learned during IDEF 2015 exhibition that the first vessel will be delivered in July this year and the last one is expected to be delivered by 2017.

Dearsan Shipyard has become the main supplier of the Navy of Turkmenistan and the State Border Protection of Turkmenistan, with the creation in 2010 of a local assembly site/shipyard in Ufre Turkmenbashi (formerly Krasnovodsk). Total to date Dearsan Shipyard received from Turkmenistan orders for State Border Protection of eight large 400-ton patrol boats project NTPB (New Type Patrol Boat, Turkish abbreviation YTKB, boats of this type are assembled from sections of the enterprise in Ufre), ten small 15 meter boat type AMV ("Bars-12"), a 27-meter landing craft type LCM-1 and one tug. All of these units have already been delivered. In addition, Turkmenistan Navy ordered two modified variant NTPB.
     
The six new "33 meters Attack Boats" ordered by the Navy of Turkmenistan have a length of 33.05 meters, a width of 7.1 meters and a draft of 1.4 meters. The propulsion system consists in two MTU M93L diesel engines with two Hamilton water jets allowing a full speed of 43 knots and a cruising range of 350 nautical miles at a speed of 35 knots.

The six new "33 meters Attack Boats" ordered by the Navy of Turkmenistan have a length of 33.05 meters, a width of 7.1 meters and a draft of 1.4 meters. The propulsion system consists in two MTU M93L diesel engines with two Hamilton water jets allowing a full speed of 43 knots and a cruising range of 350 nautical miles at a speed of 35 knots.

Weapons suite consist in 2x Marte Mk2/N anti-ship missiles by MBDA and an Aselsan STOP 25mm remote weapon station.
