Salam Petroleum Services (SPS) is a subsidiary of Energy Division of Salam International Investment Ltd (SIIL).

SPS was established in 1985 to cater for Oil, Gas, Petrochemical industries, as well as supplying the cutting edge equipment to the different governmental sectors in Qatar, such as Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, ISF, Naval Forces, Coast Guard and Civil Defense Departments.

Over the years, SPS’s services blossomed to include beside product supplies – comprehensive engineering solutions and professional consultancy services.

Emergency response services, law and regulatory enforcement and the industry trust in Dräger’s integrated hazard management, in particular for personal protection and plant safety. This includes: respiratory protection equipment, stationary and portable gas detection systems, professional diving equipment and systems, as well as alcohol and drug impairment detection. In collaboration with its customers Dräger develops customized solutions, such as entire fire training systems, training concepts and workshops.

Dräger manufactures & develops underwater equipment, such as Dräger PSS Dive: developed for use by rescue & damage control divers. Divers with special tasks may use the LAR re-breathers/ FGT, featuring a compact, robust and antimagnetic design.

On the other hand, Dräger NBC protection equipment allows operational duties to be carried out even whilst under NBC threat.

Dräger supplies as well fire fighting breathing apparatus, masks, protective helmets and escape hoods.

Dräger products/ equipment are supported and serviced locally by SPS fully equipped workshop; which has the required equipment, spare parts and professional & well trained Engineers/ Technicians for continuous local support.

Salam Petroleum and Dräger are participating jointly in the DIMDEX 2012.

(SPS – Dräger)’s stand will display & demonstrate latest professional Open Circuit and Closed Circuit Diving Equipment, Military Oxygen re-breathers, mine clearance diving devices, Diving Gas Logistics and variety of related maritime protection gears .
