stand will allow the mock-up of its future training ship to be displayed.
Growth in requests for at-sea training ensured by DCI-NAVFCO, its naval
department, has led DCI and Piriou to create navOcéan. This
new company has ordered a Maritime Training Ship from the PIRIOU shipyards.
The 44-meter ship, called «ALMAK» (name of a star in the
constellation of Andromeda that means «desert Lynx») will
be operational as from autumn 2013. «DCI is pleased to be present once again at this key meeting for the actors of the naval and maritime world» declares Jean-Louis Rotrubin, chairman of DCI. «We will take advantage of this unique showcase that the EURONAVAL show represents to present our skills and the excellence of our training programs. » |
