RINA
Group will be exhibiting at Euronaval 2012, 22 to 26 October at Paris,
Le Bourget
Being
on the field since year 1861, RINA Group is the perfect mix of experience
and innovation for classification and advisory services for naval ships.

Euronaval
is the best occasion for RINA Group to present some important novelties
and, in particular, to introduce the newly acquired company, D’APPOLONIA
S.p.A. and as well as the expertise the company has acquired in the
naval field, with specific reference to the Combat System engineering.

In fact,
thanks to the considerable know-how brought by D’APPOLONIA in
the field of engineering of naval defence systems, the traditional approach
to the classification of Naval Ships, mainly limited to the ship’s
platform, can now be completed by a comprehensive number of services
directly regarding the Combat System, such as:
• Combat System Physical Integration design;
• Engineering support to Combat System Physical Integration and
Functional Integration activities;
• Integration systems studies (weapons’ line of sight and
firing arcs, blast analyses, blaze analyses, FOD evaluation, EMI studies,
etc.)
• Electromagnetic studies (Antennas placement/coupling/performance,
RadHaz charts, EMC studies)
• Security Studies (INFOSEC, COMSEC)

With
this innovating approach involving the platform as well as the Combat
System, RINA and D’Appolonia are now jointly facing with modern
techniques the warfare naval ships’ classification and advisory
engineering, matter of growing complexity because of the increasingly
technological content of actual and incoming systems.
