iXBlue
showcasing its expertise in navigation at IMDS 2013 in St Petersburg,
Russia
iXBlue
has maintained a presence in Russia for more than ten years with great
many successes in numerous fields: oceanographic research, offshore
oil, subsea geophysics and aeronautics.
iXBlue supplies positioning and navigation systems and equipment: inertial
navigation systems (OCTANS, PHINS), acoustic systems for subsea positioning
(GAPS, POSIDONIA), sub-bottom profilers and sonars for seafloor mapping
(ECHOES), motion tables for calibration and testing of sensors and motion
systems (EVO Series).
iXBlue
is privileged to work with some of the biggest Russian companies. The
group supplies inertial systems for MIR-I and MIR-II, the submersibles
of the SHIRSHOV Institute of Oceanology that have become well known
to the general public: not only did they feature in The Titanic but
they are also famous for the photograph of the Russian flag at the North
Pole, taken from four thousand meters under water. iXBlue supplies acoustic
positioning systems to the following companies and institutes: SEVMORGAELOGYA,
YUZHMURGEOLOGYA. The group also supplies scientific equipment and tests
for the following aeronautical laboratories and companies: ELEKTROPRIBOR,
AVIAPRIBOR.
iXBlue is pursuing its international development; this year at IMDS,
together with its Russian partner Technopole Company, the group is proud
to be running four seminars to present its technologies and its positioning
and navigation solutions in the defense field for surface ships, submarines,
coastguard boats and subsea surveillance systems.
