GE Marine presents complete range of marine gas turbines at Euronaval 2014
 
During Euronaval 2014, which is held in Paris from 27 to 31st October, GE Marine, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of aeroderivative marine gas turbines, showcases complete range of gas turbines from 6,000 to 57,300 shaft horsepower (shp). GE gas turbines -- the LM500, LM2500, LM2500+, LM2500+G4, and the LM6000 -- are excellent prime movers for mechanical drive, hybrid, or all electric propulsion systems.

Rafael adapts its SPIKE NLOS long range missile for naval warfare
 
During Euronaval 2014 in Paris, Rafael is highlighting its newest ultra- long range, high-impact SPIKE missile. The SPIKE Family consists of missiles suited for land, air and sea platforms, multiple ranges and a variety of targets. The missiles in this family have sophisticated electro-optic CCD or IIR sensors for day/night all-weather operation, as well as a tandem warhead. Their lofted trajectories enable the warhead to strike the target at its most vulnerable location with pinpoint precision.

The CENTURION system has 12 barrels that are stored vertically on a rotating platform with each barrel individually controlled in elevation. This innovative design delivers a lightweight, highly versatile solution that makes it the ideal multi-role launcher for today and the future.

Israeli company Rafael chose Euronaval 2014 exhibition to present the C-GEM, a new Shipborne Off-Board Active Decoy, which defeats modern radars and missiles. It can be packed into standard size chaff rockets. The system includes low-power technique generator and high ERP transmitter arrays which generate effective jamming countermeasures.

As part of the 2014 Euronaval exhibition, Airbus Defence and Space and DCNS signed a cooperation agreement on Tuesday 28 October 2014 in Paris to develop a ship-based helicopter UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) capability. This technological partnership will help to speed up the market release of the TANAN vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) tactical helicopter UAS, as it takes into account the naval sector’s requirements and the aircraft’s efficient integration onto all types of armed vessels from the outset.
