On the occasion of the exhibition EURONAVAL 2014, Piriou
is presenting its CPV 82, a coastal patrol vessel. The CPV 82 is capable
of ensures a wide range of missions such as patrol and surveillance,
law enforcement, counter-piracy and border protection, illegal immigration
prevention or natural resources protection, at an efficient ratio cost. |

Based
on 50 years PIRIOU’s expertise in shipbuilding and in In Service
Support for Navies, the CPV 82 is PIRIOU’s response to perform
law enforcement operations at sea with fast intervention capabilities
and significant flexibility, endurance and sea-keeping behaviour.
Designed to fulfill both military and civilian missions in coastal waters, the CPV 82 ensures a wide range of missions such as patrol and surveillance, law enforcement, counter-piracy and border protection, illegal immigration prevention or natural resources protection, at an efficient ratio cost. The CPV 82 is a compact and cost effective patrol vessel that may be equipped with the necessary communication and armament system. A significant attention has been given to high reliability with very low failure rate due to extensive experience of PIRIOU in Through Life Support. Piriou stand at EURONAVAL 2014 CPV 82 (Coastal
Patrol Vessel) is a 25 m long vessel accommodating up to 10 persons
and has a fully air conditioned for tropical areas. CPV 82 features
standard diesel capacity of approximately 9m³ which translates
into a range of 1200 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots. Its maximum
speed can reach 30 knots (with a light load). The hull and the superstructure
of the CPV 82 are in aluminum and its displacement is about 65 t.
CPV 82 is compliant with civilian shipbuilding standards. |
