About NAVDEX
 
NAVDEX is the naval defence and maritime security section of the tri-service exhibition IDEX. It is the leading event of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Following the success of the 2013 edition, NAVDEX 2015 will continue to provide a dedicated platform for international naval defence and maritime security companies to showcase their technologies and services to the MENA region.

Positioned on the dock edge at the ADNEC Marina, NAVDEX will include:

» Berth vessels / crafts on the water

Key partnerships and associations
NAVDEX is organised in partnership with GHQ. These partnerships help ensure the presence of the key government entities such as the UAE Navy, CICPA, Coast Guard and Port Authorities.

Visitor and exhibitor engagement
Through high-calibre keynote sessions, prearranged networking events and a senior visitors and international delegations programme, NAVDEX ensures exhibitors meet the region’s government representatives and key decision makers.

Presence of UAE and international warships
NAVDEX has the unique advantage of being able to berth warships alongside the venue. In 2013, NAVDEX welcomed nine warships from UAE, USA, France, UK, Italy and Pakistan. The ships are located at the ADNEC Marina immediately outside the NAVDEX exhibition halls. The vessels enabled exhibitors to showcase their company’s equipment operational on-board.

Vessels and crafts alongside the exhibition stand
Exhibitors can showcase on-water exhibits and berth crafts and vessels at the ADNEC Marina. They will be accessible for viewing by all visitors and boats can be taken out for test runs on the water throughout the exhibition.

Demonstrate equipment to potential clients
NAVDEX exhibitors can include equipment during live choreographed demonstrations that take place daily in front of a grandstand of event attendees.

High profile audience
Every opportunity will be taken to encourage and maximise the engagement between exhibiting companies with the key government buyers and influencers.

The IDEX and NAVDEX Defence Summit (INDS), formerly known as Gulf Defence Conference, is the Official Conference of the event in 2015 and will take place on Saturday, February 21 to Monday, February 23, 2015 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) and other locations.
The event will bring together world-class speaker panels to share leading-edge insights across a host of key issues.
