SeaOwl Defence supplies navies through service contracts, accredited personnel and customised vessels to perform training exercises with the various units of their fleet (surface ships, submarines, naval aviation or commandos). SeaOwl’s VN Partisan takes part in the demonstrations in the waterborne area This is done in cooperation with the Royal Navy’s Royal Marine Commando’s who are performing a rapid boarding exercise on the VN Partisan acting as rogue vessel with 2 offshore raiding craft and one Pacific RIB.

The VN Partisan is a multi-task vessel where several training missions can be undertaken at the same time with various navy units (surface ships, submarines, naval aviation or commandos there by often demonstrating financial savings. These services include the following activities:
Operational Sea Training for all surface ships, submarines, naval aviation and Auxiliaries Fleet.
Helicopter’s pilot qualification for Navy and Joint Forces
Commando and boarding training
Reproduction of asymmetric threats using high speed boats
Targets/drones (UAV, UUV) management (underwater, surface & aerial targets)
Target, torpedoes recovery
Mine hunter training
Operating as a HVU among Naval vessels forces
Manoeuvring and team sea management for sea-cadets
Manoeuvring training for ships (towing, mail transfer etc…)
Qualification of contractor’s military equipment

These services are delivered by drawing from an expert pool of staff offering extensive experience and familiarity with NATO procedures and all ops orders documentations.

By combining our marine technical know-how and acquired operational expertise, we can assist other Navies to deliver high-specification training solutions worldwide.

About the VN Partisan
SeaOwl’s VN Partisan, is a 79 meter long former platform support vessel fitted with a helideck, an aviation HQ room and a close combat module for commando training missions. The company owns another two ships, both leased to the French navy, which are dedicated to naval military training and salvage & pollution remediation.
