Damen Shipyards Group will be exhibiting at NAVDEX 2015 in Abu Dhabi, UAE
 
The Damen Shipyards Group will be exhibiting at IDEX/NAVDEX 2015 from 22 - 26 February in Abu Dhabi where we will showcase our latest products and developments. The DAMEN portfolio covers the full range of water-borne requirements for naval and security forces, including landing craft, fast interceptors, offshore patrol vessels, corvettes, frigates, amphibious vessels and a wide variety of naval support vessels, all build to world-renowned Dutch standards of quality and ingenuity.
     
The Damen Shipyards Group will be exhibiting at IDEX/NAVDEX 2015 from 22 - 26 February in Abu Dhabi where we will showcase our latest products and developments. The DAMEN portfolio covers the full range of water-borne requirements for naval and security forces, including landing craft, fast interceptors, offshore patrol vessels, corvettes, frigates, amphibious vessels and a wide variety of naval support vessels, all build to world-renowned Dutch standards of quality and ingenuity.
     
Also being presented is a comprehensive cross-section of ancillary vessels such as tugs, workboats, tenders, hydrographic ships and sail training vessels.

Visitors to the DAMEN stand (B-028) will be invited to find out more about the latest models that are in build or under development at Europe’s leading shipbuilding group. These include the faster and more compact SIGMA corvettes, the multi-role crossover/XO series, and the new hybrid harbour tugs. The latest updates will also be available on the brand new Joint Support Ship, recently handed over to the Royal Netherlands Navy.

As an added bonus, AMELS, the ultra luxury motor yacht builder in the DAMEN group, will be bringing its superyacht building expertise to NAVDEX with a joint presentation together with DAMEN. Part of the group since 1991, AMELS is located just around the corner from DAMEN Schelde Naval Shipbuilding.

AMELS is one of the few yards in the world that can build large, complex yachts while at the same time delivering the very highest quality. Its highly successful 55 to 83-metre Limited Editions range continues to win new orders, and the company now also offers Full Custom one-off creations in the 80 to 110-metre segment. For these sophisticated yachts, AMELS’ design and engineering teams work together with DAMEN’s R&D specialists. AMELS will also be showcasing its distinctive and versatile Yacht Support vessels, available up to 85 metres.
