Twenty-one international allies have chosen Lockheed Martin’s Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP), illustrating its position as the pod of choice worldwide. Interoperable across multinational F-15, F-16, F-18, F-2, A-10, B-1 and B-52 aircraft, Sniper ATP provides pilots with essential capability for a variety of missions, including precision targeting and non-traditional intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (NTISR).

As an electro-optical targeting system contained in a single, lightweight pod, Sniper ATP provides pilots with high-resolution imagery and weapon-quality coordinates. Compatible with the latest precision-guided weapons, Sniper ATP successfully supports the detection, identification and engagement of multiple moving and fixed targets in air-to-air and air-to-ground missions.

With capabilities including long-range detection and identification and continuous stabilized surveillance, Sniper ATP enables aircrews to find and destroy targets outside of jet noise ranges. Additionally, datalink technology enables communication with forward-deployed forces, supporting rapid targeting decisions.

As evidenced by its recent demonstration on the U.S. Navy’sF/A-18E/F Super Hornet, Sniper ATP’s common hardware and software configurationsallow for rapid integration across platforms. Its modular design easily supports technology upgrades, and proven sustainment programs minimize its life cycle costs. With an enhanced capabilities roadmap including upgraded sensors and advanced processors, Sniper ATP will continue to provide mission-critical capabilities for air forces worldwide for years to come.
