Held
close to Paris during 5 days over 15,000 m2, Euronaval offers every two
years the most significant international platform for state and private
decision-makers from around the world to discover the latest technological
innovations, exclusively dedicated to naval defense and maritime security.
To meet the growing global demand for equipment, the event brings together
the largest panel of manufacturers, designers and suppliers of material,
simple or complex systems, and related services . Of the 110 states of
the world bordered by the sea, more than 70 countries positively answer
the invitation of the French government to visit the show. There are no
other international events devoted solely to the naval defense market. The main trends for Euronaval 2016: The growing awareness of the economic and geostrategic issues around the oceans in recent years lead to a strong increase in the demand for innovative naval equipment for defense and maritime security globally, particularly in Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle-East regions. The major trends of these new requirements are reflected in the offers of this 25th Euronaval edition: » The strong interest of maritime nations to acquire coastal patrol ships, offshore patrol vessels, corvettes or medium size frigates. » The willingness of some countries to develop their submarine fleets, with procurement projects in Australia, Sweden, Poland, Norway and Indonesia. » The development of surface and sub-surface drones (USV, UUV), unmanned aircraft (UAS) and autonomous systems. » The latest concepts in stealth technology. |
