The AHM 11 USV designed and produced by Al Marakeb extends its fleet of USVs. This vessel is 11m long and 2,8m large, it is equipped with twin marine diesel VGT 350HP engines and a twin hamilton waterjets HJ241 propulsion system.
The 11m USV has been fitted with an electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) camera, the Al Marakeb-built MAP Pro System, and the IGG Aselsan-made missile launching system (MILAS).
The MAP Pro System is a device that enables for modular integration where various 3rd party sensors (such as the EO/IR camera fitted on the model showcased at NAVDEX) can communicate to the Ground Control via different methods of communication such as 4G, RF and SatCom. The MAP Pro System is operated from a mobile post (i.e. the Ground Control Station) which can be loaded onto any control platform. This system is also used to operate the MILAS rocket launching system, enabling remote control from the Command and Control Station.
The Lightweight Multirole Missile (LMM) Missile Launching Systems (MILAS) has been developed by IGG Aselsan to provide defense for seaports, naval bases and naval vessels against variety of surface and aerial threats. The LMM MILAS has been designed to have minimum weight and impact on the platform speed and maneuverability. This MILAS system has the capability to fire Lightweight Multirole Missiles (LMMs) developed by Thales UK.
