Refitted Slava class guided missile cruiser Marshal Ustinov to rejoin Russian Fleet in 2015
 
The Russian Navy missile cruiser Marshal Ustinov is expected to rejoin the fleet in 2015 following delays in the warship’s refit, the Zvezdochka shipyard said Friday. The Marshal Ustinov, a Slava-class missile cruiser, was launched in 1982 and commissioned with the Russian Northern Fleet in 1986. It has been undergoing a refit at the Zvezdochka shipyard in northern Russia since 2011.

First Chinese built Zubr class LCAC for Chinese Navy (PLAN) reaching completion
 
The first Zubr (project 1232.2) amphibious hovercraft locally built in China is almost complete, as can be seen on a picture that recently emmerged on the Chinese internet. The Chinese Navy has placed an order for four landing craft at a reported cost of 315 million US dollars. Two were built by Feodosiya shipbuilding company and already delivered, and a second pair of vessels are being built in China under the supervision of Ukrainian technicians.

Electronic Countermeasures maybe only way to counter Chinese DF-21D Ballistic Missile

The objective of the developmental testing (DT) was to demonstrate that the RMS met reliability, suitability and effectiveness requirements. French Procurement Agency orders 9 Zodiac "ECUME" RHIB for French Navy Special Forces
 
France’s Direction générale de l’armement (DGA) announced it ordered on December 9th 2013, 9 multimission rigid hull inflatable boats from Zodiac Milpro. The multi-mission RHIB are for the French Navy’s special forces (Commandos marine). The order is part of the ECUME (Embarcations commandos à usage multiple embarquables) programme.

First of TKMS built F-125 class Frigate “Baden-Württemberg” Christened for the German Navy
 
The first of a total of four 125 Class frigates for the German Navy was today christened “Baden-Württemberg” at a ceremony at the Hamburg site of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems – a company of ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions. This is an important milestone in the construction program for the F125 Class frigates. The delivery of this first frigate is scheduled for November 2016. The order for the four ships is worth around €2 billion in total.

Mexican Navy contracts Damen for fifth Tenochtitlan-class Patrol Vessel (Stan Patrol 4207)
 
In November 2013 the Mexican Navy (Secretaría de Marina) and Damen Shipyards Group (the Netherlands) signed another contract for a Damen Stan Patrol 4207. The Mexican Navy already operates two similar Patrol Vessels and has currently two ships under construction in their shipyard ‘Astillero de Marina Numero 1’ in Tampico, which is situated on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

General Dynamics Canada has delivered the first of three deployable fast-time analysis systems for the CP-140 Aurora Maritime Patrol Aircraft. The portable system, designed to fit through the crew door of the CP-140 aircraft, can be deployed with the aircraft for missions away from the main operating base in Canada and allows ground crews immediate access to post-flight analysis of critical acoustic data, confirming and classifying targets.

The tests in Toulon harbour were part of a contract awarded to DCNS by the DGA in early 2013 after a competitive bidding process and as a follow-up to the Globalinfo technical/operational study to assess the benefits to the French Navy of a video recording and replay system.

FCTs, run by the Navy's Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV), is the final review in a series of post-delivery tests and trials exercising all aspects of the vessel and its systems, including main propulsion, damage control, supply, deck, navigation, habitability, electrical systems and operations.

Lockheed Martin LRASM Anti-Ship Missile Scores Second Successful Flight Test
 
Lockheed Martin’s Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) recently achieved another successful flight test, with the missile scoring a direct hit on a moving maritime target. The test was conducted in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and Office of Naval Research (ONR) program.
An unmanned target ship demonstrates the effects of the second successful flight test of a Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) prototype, conducted November 12 off the coast of Southern California. The test reinforced the results of LRASM’s first successful free-flight transition test (FFTT) on August 27, which verified the prototype’s flight characteristics and assessed subsystem and sensor performance.

After 25 years of service and having carried out more than 140 exclusive economic area protection or public service missions, "La Tapageuse" left the port of Brest for Concarneau on Saturday 30 November.
